Many people have heard of the ‘tween places. These are places where one energy or substance ends and another begins. It is the area between two places. It has been said that if you want to see and feel the faeries you can do so most easily in these ‘tween places. This is because the veil between the physical and nonphysical is very thin here. There are ‘tween spaces on the Earth such as an island or beach for it is in between land and sea. There are ‘tween times such as dusk and dawn, twilight and midnight. There are ‘tween seasons such as the spring equinox or Midsummer’s night (summer solstice). The faeries say that trees are also ‘tween spaces because they connect heaven and earth.
These spaces all exist on the physical level; they are outer manifestations of what we deem ‘tween places. As we move more deeply into the Age of Aquarius, we begin to place less focus on the outer world. More attention goes to the inner world – the world of Spirit. The faeries showed me that there is a ‘tween place within: the Heart.
It is our doorway to Faerie. The heart connects heaven and earth, spirit and matter. It is the point exactly between the three lower chakras and the three upper chakras. The heart is the space from whence shines your inner light. And so befitting of this age, we come to a new understanding of ‘tween place.
As we begin to turn our attention inward, energy flows to our heart and that Still Small Voice within can be heard. It is here that we begin our relationship with Spirit, our true selves and the faeries, if we so choose. Shall we begin? Let us take a minute to go within and connect:
Take a moment now and close your eyes. Allow the worldly way to slip away for just a moment. Take a few deep breaths. As you do, feel your heart grow bright with light. See the radiance that is there. Feel the love. Now invite the faeries to play with you. Invite them to share their love and light with you throughout the day. Now send them love and gratitude. A lifelong connection of the heart is made. You need only nurture it. And so it is.
With Love and Faery Light,
